(Ab)use of Law. Criminal Proceedings in Xinjiang
This report explains the widespread and systematic deprivation of liberty of Uyghurs in Xinjiang, with forms of detention used as an end in themselves and as means to carry out ‘re-education’, punish and to engender fear.
