Electrolux

In March 2020, Swedish multinational Electrolux was identified as one of many global brands whose supply chains were highly likely to contain Uyghur forced labour. Electrolux did not respond to the report’s findings.

Following pressure from the Sweden Uighur Education Association for companies to end their association with factories linked to Uyghur forced labour, Electrolux provided a written statement to Radio Sweden, stating that the company has no suppliers in Xinjiang and that it has been in repeated contact with the senior management of the supplier accused of using forced labour. The supplier "denies any usage of forced labor and confirms adherence to international labor regulations and the Electrolux policies".
